Loomis Industries proudly introduces our Automated Roller Breaker. The Automated Roller Breaker speeds production by separating the breaking process from the slower scribing process. By introducing a separate breaker, the wafer spends approximately half the time on the scribing machine.
The breaking process time is greatly decreased with the wide cylindrical roller - just a couple of minutes required for the entire wafer. This allows the roller breaker to handle scribed wafers from multiple scribing machines.
Laser guided alignment adds to the production speed. An initial alignment of a laser line projected on the breaking platform is all that is necessary to begin breaking.
